Cheryl Pledged, Shoop Dog Sang, and John Sr. Prayed.

President Dean greeted everyone, even a Kiwianian, for his last hurrah.

Mike Hayes was making his first visit on Dean’s last day.

Fine Guys: Bob Bates and Richie Wolfson grabbed the pans because they thought that meant they would not get fined. Wrong.

Pins & Badges, RV sitting when addressing, Bob Kaminer on cable TV, Frank Rinfret sat quietly so he would not get fined, Cheryl refused to say anything to avoid any possibility of one.

Birthdays:            John Sr.

Anniversaries:            Mario 31 Yrs., Rich Michenzi 22 yrs, Richie Wolfson 4 yrs, Skip??

Rotary:             Paul Bardaro 19 yrs, Bob Kaminer 12 years.

We had three 100% meetings this year. (Raffle, Charter Night, Joint Service). The Joint Service club meeting, arranged by Cheryl, had 25 Rotarians and 25 Kiwanis. Some questioned the Kiwanis count. President Dean then assessed those who did not attend all the 100%’s on the honor system basis.

Speaking of Joint Service…. the bus driver for the night then asked to make a plea on behalf of her tablemates that evening. It seems one member joined the group, then abruptly got up and moved to another table. He also took the wine and made a comment about “woman in Rotary”. Needless to say the entire club was appalled. The driver was glad the bad guy was assessed $20.

The club approved a donation of $1000 to Rotoplast made earlier this year. This is a great program for the children.

Nobeoka: David Keane reported that we have two high school juniors all set for the trip to Nobeoka. Pat Theberge has the tickets and insurance in place. More to come.

Joe, Sr. reported about a $23,000 profit for the raffle. Good Show.

Dean made some final thank you and then faded off into the heat.

Thank you Dean for a great year.
